Thanks to another Jo (Jordan Chez of i58:10 Media), we came across the official programme (as the evidently spell it in the UK) of the Royal wedding that will take place Friday morning. The program was designed by Haymarket Media Group in the UK. Below are a couple of shots of how it turned out. Pop some popcorn, follow along and get ready for the party that starts at 1 AM PST! As we’ve all been made aware of by now, the earthquake and tsunami that followed has misplaced 10′s of thousands of missing persons in Japan. The death toll alone just came in above 3,500. It’s inspiring, however, to see all of the state-side efforts in providing support and prayers for the fallen. Even the smallest of contributions can save lives and help others.

We’ve created a poster, entitled “Hope”, that is now available for purchase. 100% of the proceeds from these posters will go directly to the American Red Cross and their relief efforts in Japan. Note: the kanji at the bottom of the poster translates to “Hope (for) Japan”. Fair Weather Press are the masterminds behind the beautiful screen printing as a contribution to the cause.

We spent this weekend out at Washington Family Ranch with the implementation team for the Wild Canyon Games. Their vision for the games is incredible, and if you’re ever asked to compete, do it! Here are some shots from the drive back to Portland on Sunday.

Hey JoJo has a new studio space for commercial photography work. It’s currently a little messy, but it’s a great space.

A big thank you to Julie from Studio Olivine for the beautiful job she did on the Hey JoJo cards and moleskins. Studio Olivine is a local letterpress print shop that uses soy based inks and 100% post consumer recycled paper. Julie did a fantastic job pressing each Hey JoJo card by hand! I was fascinated by the process of correctly placing the cards for each plate and the “outtakes” that it generates. Julie was kind enough to let me keep those outtakes, which you can see below.
